A few things I'm curious about Bless Online
I apologize if you get a lot of these kinds of posts.
So I've been going through videos etc looking at the game and it looks VERY interesting, reminds me of AA a bit. Now I understand the game is in beta right now over at korea so I don't expect to get definitive answers to some of my questions.
1: The bars seem empty, looking at some of the endgame content it seems like the players only have 10 or so abilities on their bars. Now that's not necessarily a bad thing, but I am curious if the pvp requires skill. Comparing the game to AA in a fair fight there was so much stuff you could do to outplay etc.
Answer: a1) Each class has 50 skills, give or take, divided in core skills (which can equipped and represent your specialization), passive and active skills
2:Sort of a followup question to 1, how is the gear balance? One of the things that bothered me in AA was that it felt impossible to win against anyone with more gear. I know there is going to be people with more gear than me but if I play a decent amount every day am I just going to lose to gear?
3:Flying mounts? Personally not a fan because it tends to ruin WPvP, I heard that you could get one, is this true? Also if true how greatly does it affect worrd PvP?
Answer: 3) Flying mounts are VERY rare drops from world bosses and last only 7 days, anyway you can ride dragons to move from a zone to another one like in WoW.
4:Solo pvp? One of the things that turned me off of BDO was that the game greatly discourages going around killing people. Some of my favorite moments in MMO games have been taking on multiple people trying to burst the first guy then play circles around the others.
Answer: 4) Devs are going to ehnance world PvP in the next patches. There are different kinds of PvP, battleground PvP and open PvP, on youtube you can find good PvP videos like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wh53TZtB2bE
5:Fatigue system. Which things does it limit? I personally liked the labor systems concept in AA where you had to dump the points every day to normal grind stuff and then you could go out in the world and do fun stuff. Is this similar? Also any news of fatigue potions(aka the road to p2w).
Answer: 5) Fatigue system will be softened a lot in the next patch, it's mostly used for crafting, taming, minions and battlegrounds, I think they removed fatigue cost for dungeons.
6:How is the ping from EU?
Answer: 6) I think it's around 230ms but you'll notice it when endgame bosses use their AoE skills.
Thank you in advance for anyone who might .
r4pg:BLESS ONLINE STRIVES TO BALANCE ITS PVE AND PVP COMMUNITIES
Basel Gorge and the Siege of Strasbourg appear to be the two biggest hotspots of controversy. The team is adjusting both to handle the proportional interest by the players and to up the drop rate. Concern is being given to balancing the game's PvP and PvE offerings as well.
r4pg:EU/NA Status Update : A Message from Product Manager Carsomyr
we couldn’t come up with a fix launch date and milestones like close beta tests and open beta tests because the project is bigger than expected and the game needs a couple of tweaks to be able to penetrate the western MMO market and to have a stable and sustainable future in there.
r4pg:Bless Online First Impressions
Bless Online is a Korean MMORPG that's likely to come to the west in the future and has recently gone into open BETA in Korea
r4pg:Bless Online Good or Bad?
what is so nice about the game is the world, big open af and the battle pet/mount system. I do rly think this game could be rly rly good, if they fix some stuff about the combat system and tweak some things here and there.
r4pg:What's your opinion on Bless so far?
I have leveled a Berserker to 29 and found the game to be pretty gud so far. Dungeons have been fun and require your attention, the world is beautiful, and the combat system hasn't bothered me at all. I personally feel delay has an issue with how the combat feels unresponsive.
r4pg:Bless Online beta Players to try to discuss
The 1-45 experience was intended as a beta and not meant to hold people for the long run since most of the end-game systems are not present.
