Trove Bugs/Fixes/Opinions for PVP
So having played PVP thoroughly for the past week I've finally become inclined to put a thread like this together because although it is only a beta, some things need to change. Here's my list.
I know we'll be able to play PVP in our club world using arenas that we built, but honestly I think playing in lobbies on random maps is awesome too and needs some sort of Party System to be able to play with your friends or clubbies. There have been countless times where I've been put with oblivious teammates (and believe me, oblivious is the nicest word I can think of to describe them) who don't know how to play the game or simply aren't educated about how to play it (which I'll get onto in my next point). We just need a simple system where there is a Leader, then the members, and when the leader joins the portal, all members teleport to the same map. I'm sure it won't be a hard feature to implement but it'd be so much appreciated by everyone IMO.
Tip: Right now, because there is no party system and no way to join your friend in a battle arena, simply ask them to do /getworldid and to paste it in. To join that id, simply do /joinworld <id he typed> and you're in.
Team mates are annoying
I think we've all pretty much had that frustrating moment when we're in a PVP match in Trove (or any other game, because this applies everywhere) and the team mates have no idea what they're doing. They don't capture flags, they don't know how to capture flags, they don't know what team they're on, and so on.
My idea would be to simply add a 'newbie' PVP mode, where all the players under mastery 20 can play with each other and learn the basics and mechanics of PVP without bothering the more advanced and skilled players. This mode would also constantly remind them what team they're on, show a marker as to where the flag of the enemy is, and where to deposit the flag. This would be such a great way to teach them about the game and hopefully something like this gets added.
Hit-Reg is annoooyyyyiiinnngggg
Things such as smacking your opponent with a massive sword in the face and not dealing any damage is quite frustrating. Also the Shadow Hunter doesn't deal any damage if you shoot while moving..
Some classes need some balancing
I am a huge fan of the Neon Ninja in PVP because it's supposed to be 'stealthy' and for the most part it serves it's role very well but I do believe it should be a little less visible when you press RM, because you being able to clearly see it quite defies the purpose of the class.
The Lunar Lancer also has too much mobility.
The Ice Sage's slowing effect is too darn strong and slows too much from 1 hit.
The Shadow Hunter's bugs need to be fixed. Things such as Walking and shooting Hit-Reg bug and the fact that friendlies as well as yourself can activate the snare need to be fixed.
Anyway, that's all I could think of right now. I wrote this in kind of a rush because challenge..
The imbalance between emblems is quite silly
Given the price on Fragments of Wonder, Surestrike is worth about 1 radiant item (135k Trove Flux), and we know that a radiant costs 30€ in the shop, which buys us the 3250 Credit bundle 1.5 times, which is 4875 Credits, 6.5 times the price of Surestrike, in cubits this equals 42250(6500*6.5), lets say 42k to make things easier.
Trove - Rise of the Shadow Tower Update is Live!
lemme elaborate, we thought the economy wouldnt work with their new plan, bc, for every player that is still getting mastery, getting trove flux for trades is the main thing, and the new system doesnt allow for trove flux gattering as easy as the former one.
Trove Constructive Criticism
Lag/rubber banding. This started after the last patch. Usually happens at night, Ill enter a U5 for the Challenge and the world doesn't load right, or loads slow

Team Fortress 2FORT, PvP Arena by Club Batlground
Here is an old classic CTF map from Team Fortress called 2fort. I'm sure many of you have played it before. It's one of my favorites from my old FPS days and I wanted to recreate it as faithfully as I could.
Unless they run in a straight line for a few seconds, high latency players are hugely advantaged as they are invincible flag runners. I've noticed alot of extreme laggers will also play AOE characters and/or with minions, such as the tomb raiser or candy barb.
