Trove Constructive Criticism
I returned to the game after it went live on Steam. The game play is fun but there are a few things I would like either cleared up or looked at, and there are things that are great.
Lag/rubber banding. This started after the last patch. Usually happens at night, Ill enter a U5 for the Challenge and the world doesn't load right, or loads slow. I can't get to any where and when I am gliding, it makes me motion sick I rubber band around so much.
Magic find. Why is it when my "Magic Find is Triggered" I end up just getting a red item. Normally I would just think this bad luck but it happens EVERY time. In a U5, Magic find triggers and ohh a Level 10 red Item with a common graphic and normal stats? That is not a Better treasure. If its not going to do anything in the game, get rid of it, or fix it.
Dragons. My wife was all excited about the inclusion of Dragons. So was I. If you want one, you have to work for one. Do the challenges, and keep grinding for those Souls. Well my wife got her Dragon and its a gliding mount. Really? that is it? oh and it can shoot fireballs while you glide. All that does is make groups annoying as one person is out there just dropping fireballs on dungeons making holes while your inside fighting. What is the purpose. Dragons fly.. not glide. This is a big disappointment.
Group travel and dungeons. This is something I like. Everyone together and everyone gets their own loot. Except REALLY big groups but still, everything is shared. I know someone complained about leeches and I am not a fan either, but them leeching does not take away anything from me and I still enjoy the game.
Boats... Fast with guns. When I first returned I wondered how to get the floating boxes, as my first raft well was sad. But the better boats you get a turret and now its fun. Boats are also faster in the straight away. I wondered why people would travel on boats as hopping on a mount was fast, but yea boats being faster makes sense. Turn radius.. Oh well, gotta give a little to get a little. Still a good idea with a smart way to make them relevant.
Over all the game has improved since I played it months ago. Still centered around farming but at least you can do multiple farming things while out. The only other thing I would criticize is the expanded inventory is a pay to open. And wow so little. I know its play to win but wow.

The biomes are large, plenty for everyone, I try to get out of the big groups path, and when it's all done and the big group ports out, there are left over dungeons that they don't bother with, so it's not like I robbed them of their precious challenge points

When you play MMOs or other fantasy games, are you a fan of magic-casting classes? Do you like dragons? How about scorching people to death with a flamethrower? All these things and more are wrapped up into the Trove Dracolyte class. The Dracolyte class is available for 5,000 Cubits (earned in-game) or 1050 Credits (using real money) in the Trove store, and can also be obtained through buying the Hero or Voxstar Starter Packs. The Dracolyte is a short-to-mid-range caster class, able to deal immense Area of Effect (or “AoE”) damage. Compared to the Fae Trickster, the other current caster class, the Dracolyte is much more confrontational and wants to get up close to show off his AoE prowess.
