We Need a Healer/Supporter class

So, in the game there is no true Support/Healer. This is a class I think could tackle both of them.

 

Class Name: Celestial Mender

Weapon Used: Staff

Specializes: Support (Healing; Buffing)

Biome Relation: Celestial Skylands (New Biome (Rare)

Difficulty: |Solo: Hard|*| Group: Medium|

 

Move/Skill Set

Passive: Spiritual Calling: Every 5 ticks you are given Spiritual Power, or when you help (Heal/Buff)an Ally. You can hold up to 5 at a time. Whenever you use Celestial Well or Celestial Protection, all are consumed.

 

Mouse One ('Base' Attack): Celestial Orb: 

Fires a glowing white sphere. If it hits an Ally, they gain boosted Movement (+10%) and Attack speed (+5%). This has a lower damage output, but a relatively fast attack speed, so it is helpful to buff Allies. The effects last for 3 ticks. It will also give the Ally 10% health back.

 

*If you have a Celestial Well up and an Orb hits the Well, all Allies on the well will receive the buff

 

Mouse Two: Celestial Well: (No Cooldown, Consumes 30 Energy)

Covers a Semi-Large area with a very light Yellow tinted circle. When an Ally stands in this, they will gain 450% more Health Regen and 200% more Energy Regeneration. When an Enemy stands on it, they will take 20% of your Magic Damage and deal it every tick they are on it. You can cast up to 3 at a time, and overcasting will cause the oldest of the three to expire. By default, each Well lasts 15 ticks +1 per SP used.

 

*The radius grows 20% per Spiritual Power consumed, and the Regenerations are increase by 50% per as well.*

 

Press 1: Celestial Protection: (3 tick cooldown, Consumes 55 Energy)

All Allies in a 20 block radius will receive a Shield. This shield will last for 5 ticks. Allies will be protected from 30% of all damage, and are immune to Knockback, Slowness, and DoT. When standing on a Well, they will receive an Additional 10% protection as well as immunity to death.

 

(They will stay at 1 Health until healed by you or a Potion, Health Regen won't work in this state)

 

*For every SP Consumed, the Protection is increased by 5% and lasts 1 tick longer.*

**Tip! If you are playing with others, it is useful to cast this first so that you may receive SP back from buffing your Allies and then use the extra SP to place down a Well**

 

Press 2 (Ultimate): Spiritual Embodiment: You will morph into your Spiritual form (A slightly taller and see-through version of you). While in this form, your Mouse One will have 300% more effect on allies, as well as a faster cast rate. it will also be casted in a 15 block radius centered at you. Celestial Well will gain x2 Regen effects and the radius will be 40% larger. Celestial Protection will override to cause a 95% Protection, and immunity to any negative effects. The Shielding will also make you immune to death by default, and they cannot fall below 20% health when standing on a Well with the Shield active. You will permanently have 5 SP in this form, and they will all dispel when this effect ends. The duration of each ability will stack on each other with no limits. When this effect ends, anything casted while in this form will also dispel (Any Wells, Shields, Buffs, etc.). This form will last for 20 ticks, and has a cooldown of 60 ticks. The cooldown will not start until the effect ends.

 

And there you have it. I think this would make for a pretty killer (Well, not so 'Killer') healing and supportive class, based purely on that. It wasn't built to be a solo class, but you could potentially make it work by buffing yourself as much as you can. But after all, it was built with group play in mind.

 

Suggested Combo: Candy Barbarian (AS stack with Rage Candy), Neon Ninja (Crazy attack speed, massive DPS Potential), Tomb Raiser (With the minions and the right setup, you can potentially buff their minions enough to where they will not deteriate under your effects and support, as well as give them more damage and usefulness to the group), Ice Sage (Their ability to slow and debuff enemies will come in handy, and possibly give you extra time to charge up a combo.) and the last one is plausible. You could possibly put in another Mender for the extra effects, or a Dracolyte, even a Shadow Hunter because of the massive damage potential if buffed right. Anything after these classes is up to you.

 

*Compacted: Candy Barbarian, Neon Ninja, Tomb Raiser, Ice Sage, Mender/Draco/Shadow Hunter.*

 

I would die for them to add this class, or one like it.

why is dragon attack speed being nerfed

the dragons firebreath is completely useless in underground dungeons and 80% of the time you can't even use it because tunnels are too cramped so spamming fireballs in a lower level dungeon doesn't happen

The biomes are large, plenty for everyone, I try to get out of the big groups path, and when it's all done and the big group ports out, there are left over dungeons that they don't bother with, so it's not like I robbed them of their precious challenge points
