This is a idea i've been poking with for a long time. Might as well throw it out here and see what people think of it.
Concept: A neon ninja stranded in cyberspace with damaged equipment, the ninja adapted by learning to use the strange relm's technology and exploit the native's weaknesses
Weapon of choice: Sword or Gun
Both weapon choices share a mechanic: Weapon charge. Weapon charge is provided by using the RMB and regenerated by the passive, and causes a large damage boost (ego blast ish) to the autoattack. You can have 10 weapon charge at a time.
Autoattack: Cyber Slash
Slash with the sword, consumes a single weapon charge to do considerable additional damage. Restores 10 energy if a enemy is struck.
RMB: Video Burst (50 energy)
Shoot a charge from the offhand device, dealing high AoE with a large blast radius on impact. Restores 3 weapon charge + 1 additional weapon charge for each struck enemy
Autoattack: Cyber Burst
Soot a enemy, creating a AoE blast of moderate size. Consumes weapon charge to deal considerable additional damage. Restores 5 energy if a enemy is struck.
RMB: Video Slash (50 energy)
Project a solid light blade from the offhand device, dealing high AoE in a frontal arc. Restores 3 weapon charge + 1 additional weapon charge for every additional struck enemy.
Ideally, using a gun provides a playstyle with higher survivability, but at the cost of making weapon charge much higher to build up (in addition to the lower expected damage of ranged/melee contrast)
Utility: Area Advance (10 energy)
Blink forward. Thats it. Good for gap closing or escaping, with a low energy cost.
Ultimate: Overcharge suit (90s cooldown)
Instantly restores 100 energy to self and all allies in a large AoE. For 10 seconds:
Sword: Regenerate 1 shield charge every second, 1 weapon charge every 4 seconds
Gun: Regenerate 1 weapon charge every 2 seconds, 1 shield charge every 3 seconds
The survivor has a shield that deflects large attacks based on how many charges the shield has:
4 charge: 100% absorb
3 charge: 75% absorb
2 charge: 50% absorb
1 charge: 25% absorb
5 charges can be held at a time.
For every 5 seconds the survivor avoids large attacks completely, 2 shield charges and 1 weapon charge is restored. Ice Sage's ice shield serves as baseline for what might be considered a large attack.
